Q: How do I wire this switch; I have 2 pink wires to the On/Off light, A RED, BROWN and BLUE wire from the Capacitor and 2 White wires to thew motor?

Q: Why would this item be discontinued? My wife and I have 3 of these heritage ll kirby vacuums. They are all in great condition except for the bad on/off switch. There seems to be a lot of people looking for this switch. If kirby does not care about their loyal customers being able to keep thir kirby vacuums working, do you know of any after-market outlets that would have a switch that will work on these vacuums?

A: We keep hearing end of the month. We have been getting that from Kirby since summer. They do have a new owner so I would estimate by end of year.

A: Many manufacturers are doing this on products that are 40- 50 years old. Also with new ownership and supply issues tied with demand I'm sure this is the way the new owners took.
